Outstanding guitar playing, he knows how to bring intensity and depth to his playing

~ El País – Spain’s largest daily newspaper

In the late 1980s, Peter travelled by train to Jerez de la Frontera in the deep south of Spain. They were not happy about that at the conservatoire where he studied.

Indeed, one of their students cancelled an appearance on national television … But he had no choice.

At last he was going to meet his great hero. And not only that. He was also going to take lessons from him.

Manolo Sanlúcar

Peter learned a lot from him.

A few years back, he started composing a tribute to him. Because to this day, he finds his music very special. It touches him time and again.

Sadly, he recently passed away at the age of 78. This gives his song Querido Sanlúcar an extra charge.
